Kia ora koutou katoa, hello everyone.

As principal of Upper Harbour Primary, it is my privilege to work alongside all the other staff featured on these pages. It is also my pleasure to partner with families, whanau and the wider community as we strive to provide the very best that a New Zealand education has to offer. I love the diversity of our school and the way all come together to enjoy the richness of the New Zealand Curriculum and the opportunities to develop the skills to be future-focused learners, problem solvers and entrepreneurs.

I’m married to a lovely guy named Roy, who is an excellent scone maker, and for the last 29 years we have lived up on the Hibiscus Coast. We recently celebrated our 32nd wedding anniversary and the arrival of a wee granddaughter, Charlotte, on the same day.

Other than family, my spare time passion is photography. I belong to a couple of photography clubs and enjoy the challenge of learning new skills and presenting images for critique. Roy and I are avid DIYers and we also do some woodturning – my main products are writing pens.

I’m always keen to get to know new people so, if we haven’t already met, please feel free to pop in and say hello.
