Sports

We offer a range of sports to our students, all of which are coached and managed by parents.  Our UHPS philosophy about primary school sports focuses on three major principles.

Participation whilst ensuring individual player development, and if these are being achieved, then team development.

When creating teams we look to ensure that children get a chance to have a go, and that they are in the right environment to grow and enjoy themselves.  At UHPS we create the teams with a lot of thought and in partnership with the coaches, using their knowledge of the players in action.

The sports team has their own email address: sportsteam@upperharbour.school.nz and we would love to hear from you.  If you have any queries, ideas or feedback please do not hesitate to contact us.  We ask that you direct any queries or feedback to Emma Thompson, who is our sports coordinator via the email above.
