Our students have been fundraising for a community defibrillator, they have raised funds by holding mufti days and selling the entertainment book. We are also grateful to our supporters Shore Community Trust and Bayleys for their donations.
On May 27th we held the official opening of the defibrillator. Our Kapa Haka group greeted our special guests, Hon. Paula Bennett MP for Upper Harbour and Randall Brooks from Shore Community Trust.
We are pleased to be able to live by one of our school values of Whanaungatanga (Aroha, Service, Care) by providing this life-saving resource to our community.
In the event of an emergency, you can access the defibrillator 24/7 at the front entrance of our school. 140 Kyle Road, Albany.
